Gurneet Kaur is a rising freshman hoping to pursue a B.S. in Cognitive Science. She hopes to create political ad thought-provoking designs in the technological field of user interface, as she is passionate about making a change in her community and beyond. In her community, Gurneet is involved with different organizations such as Girl Scouts, the Youth Action Committee of Cypress, and volunteers regularly at her local gurdwara. Through this internship with Kaur Foundation, Gurneet is excited to learn about how religious literacy impacts various age groups differently, and what Kaur Foundation can do to combat the negative consequences. This summer she hopes to get ready for college while making the most of her last summer with her high school friends!
Puneet Kaur is excited to be interning at the Kaur Foundation this summer. For Puneet, this internship holds great significance as it aligns perfectly with her values and Sikh identity and allows her to contribute to a cause that holds deep personal importance. In September, Puneet will be in her third year at Rutgers University New Brunswick, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in linguistics. Her passion for language has driven her to explore the possibility of furthering her education with a master's degree in education. But Puneet’s dedication doesn't stop at their academic pursuits; she is actively involved in organizations such as Rutgers UNICEF and Charity Water, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact in their community.
